It comprises an inspirational introduction that reflects on the time in Joshua when the Israelites marched around the walls of Jericho. As Max states, to occupy your glory days (our Promised Land) you have to dislodge it's occupant(s), that is, the enemy that is holding you back from realising your Canaan.How do you do this? I'll let Max explain:"Defeat your strongholds with the spiritual weapons of worship, Scripture and prayer. Move from false promises to God's promises. It's just a matter of time before your Jericho comes down."The Day 1 devotional follows featuring a few words of worship (a song, a psalm), a verse or 2 of Scripture and then a prayer. Each day follows the same pattern.I found this was an excellent way to start my day. It helped me tune into God. That's what Joshua did when leading his people, he tuned into the Lord and followed the Lord's leading which brought the walls down.Highly recommended irrespective of whether you read Glory Days.
