The only obstacles between the Geralos Empire and galactic domination are The Phasers of Anstractor.
The Phasers are an elite group of soldiers, handpicked and re-educated with the secrets of the galaxy. Phasers can clone, jump to other galaxies, and extend their lives, but their most dangerous weapon is their secrecy. Nobody knows where they come from or how they are able to do the things they do.
To defeat this secret organization, the Geralos must learn more about them. They send their best spy to find a way to infiltrate the Phaser Agency.
As Supreme Leader of the Phasers, Rafian VCA does not realize the threat. His marriage is on the rocks, a fellow pilot is missing, and his best friend doesn't trust him enough to join the organization. With these distractions taking his focus off the war, the Geralos are able to slip inside. Now the Phasers find themselves in danger of becoming dismantled.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Fun Read! By Marcus I highly suggest reading Book 1 in The New Phase series before picking up Phasers of Anstactor by Greg Dragon. Phasers has a delightfully complex world and many interesting characters to keep track of. Greg Dragon does a good job of explaining the more salient history, but you will enjoy the whole thing much more by having the foundation of the story from Book 1.In many ways, Phasers is classic Science Fiction in that the 'Fiction' contains a great deal of creative and imaginative 'Fantasy'. Dragon's women are fiery and the action is quite enjoyable.I, of course, delighted in Greg Dragon's liberal application of swords, space ships, space 'magic', and alien races as fun and distinct as the original Star Trek.It's fun, and it all comes together by the end (thankfully).
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. A Great Story of Comaraderie and Persistance By Alan R. Vance When first started reading this book, I wasn't sure that I was going to enjoy it. Was I ever wrong! This book whisked me away to another galaxy where the idea of "normal" sexual relations is advanced to where we should be now! The camaraderie between the characters reminded me of my Army leadership days. The story may have started out slow, but it picked up nicely and kept me riveted until I finished it. I cannot wait for the next in the series to find out what happens to a well diverse group of characters! Great job Greg!!

Enjoyable return to a series By HR Duby Reviewed for Paranormal Romance and Authors that RockWhen I read the first Anstractor novel, I was of two minds regarding whether or not I wanted to read a sequel because authors often write sequels for the simple act of writing sequels. After having read this installment, I'm very glad that Greg Dragon has chosen to continue the story. What I appreciated the most about this book is the fact that, while we see the continuing action in the war against the Geralos, the theme most prevalent to me is the explorations of the relationships amongst the various characters. It is not even just romantic relationships, though the relationship between Rafian VCA and his wife Marian is front and center. This book concerns the relationships between friends, comrades in arms, siblings, etc, and those relationships draw the reader in more fully into the conflict. Whereas the first book ended in such a way as to be questionable whether or not there would be future installments, this book ends in a way that not only looks favorably on another book, but also in a way that makes us look forward to it.The romantic aspects of the novel are even more downplayed than they were in the first book, so my recommendation for the series thus far remains at 16+.
