BRING HIM IN. For U.S. Marshals, the order to track down a fugitive is just part of the job. But this time it’s a whole lot more than that. Hondo Cade and Storm Erhard are not typical U.S. Marshals. As members of the first Fugitive Apprehension Team they operate independently of the normal U.S. Marshal bureaucracy. When a key witness protected by the U.S. Marshals Service ends up dead, FAT-1 is dispatched from Dallas to the badlands of South Dakota to bring back the fugitive suspected of committing the murder. The fugitive in question, however, just happens to run an outlaw motorcycle gang called the Death Riders. But more is going on in South Dakota than one of America’s Most Wanted being with some bad bikers. The bikers have aligned themselves with an anti-government militia on the local Sioux Indian reservation, all trained by a Native American renegade formerly of the Special Forces, and all wanting revenge against the United States of America. Cade and Erhard must somehow apprehend their man while simultaneously spoiling the plans of the antigovernment militia and survive the vast array of threats aligned against them. With the lives of hundreds of U.S. citizens hanging in the balance, the threat is one the U.S. Marshals cannot ignore, and FAT-1 takes action the only way they know: the hard way.

The airplanes he spoke off had a way of puttting you in the plane with the characters. If you like various weapons, flying and motorcycles, this is a great book. The characters described were an easy visual and the story line is powerful. It made me chuckle out loud at times and made me cheer for the good guys and even one not so good guy. The details they get into with the weapins is amazing. I could not wait to see how it ended, yet I did not want it to end. I loved it!!!
