This is the second book I've read by this author-I enjoyed the first one (One More Tomorrow) a great deal and thought this one was even better. It's a great story-filled with twists and "how will they get out of this" scenarios. The action kept the story moving and the writing flowed so smoothly that it was really, really hard to book the book down. In addition to the action aspect of "Black Horse" there is an underlying plot involving the main character's personal and spiritual growth that is subtle but interesting and compelling, and adds a depth beyond the story itself. The book is extremely well written-the author's use of language is articulate, the premise of the story is intelligent and well thought through and the characters are interesting, real and likeable. All in all this was a very enjoyable read and I am definitely looking forward to more books by this author!
