From the first time you meet Ken at Charlotte City College to the last at Mountain Lake Park you will find this book hard to put down wanting to know what's on the "next page". The author through the main characters Shawn, Elena, Jeremy and Ken draw you into the action and story. I don't usually read fiction but this book kept my interest and left me wondering and looking forward to the follow-up to Shadow Strike - Birth of a Vigilante.

It drew you into the storyline and propelled you thru the book along with the characters. I recommend this book for teen and up. The plot moved nicely, without stalling out at any point. It was a hard book to put down. I await the second book of this series as I let many of my friends and family know what a great read this book is.
