The author does an excellent job capturing events of Biblical history amplified with specific augmenting details that remain for the most part undiscussed and/or misunderstood by most Christians, Churches and Church leaders. He uses a sound approach standing with God's truth, historical Hebrew and Greek writings and logical supposition. By asking to put aside preconceived ideas, the reader is invited to go into a deeper understanding of the Word and other literature as written and understood by God's people. I eagerly anticipate further scriptural discoveries as with the reference of "in the days of Noah."

Crenshaw So I have too many Tom Horn books to count, and just about everything Stephen Quayle wrote as well. This subject holds endless fascination to be sure. But beyond the interest of the topic, more and more I am convinced what happens between Genesis 3 to Genesis 6 holds many keys to history and the problems and solutions in the world today. Fawcett's book is a great study on the topic, and I also appreciate his use of the Divine Name YVWH. Simply put, I read it in one setting and it covers many subjects about the world, history, and history before Adam. In Genesis YVWH (some spell YHWH) clearly says there are two seeds, one of the promise, one of the serpent. Giants are found throughout the scripture and of course so is the serpent. Maybe some of the horrible things that happen in the world are better explained by understanding there is a fallen seed, Nephilim, demonic corruption of mankind that is to be taken literally. But then again, Netflix is about eight bucks a month, so there is enough distraction to keep people occupied for many lifetimes so they don't study or ask questions like those found in this book. In about an hour you can have your eyes opened by this book, or you can binge watch a few hundred programs for 8 hours a day. Start here, you will be glad you did.

What do we do with stories of giants or demons when so much of modern science tells us otherwise?In the book Nephilim the author takes a deeper look at these extraordinary tales and what other Biblical scholars have said about them. I must admit, I find this stuff really fascinating. As someone who has studied both mythology and Biblical history its hard not to see the overlap at times and this book bravely goes into those gray areas to find the truth.Even though the book is short, it does a good job of diving into some of the issues and beliefs within the Biblical texts, and what support those ideas have in other ancient works.Not everyone will agree with the author's findings, but he did his homework and if you are curious about these subjects than it would definitely be worth your time to check it out!
