1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. DON'T NEED INTERNET CONNECTION EACH TIME YOU ACCESS THE READINGS, YOU ONLY NEED IT FOR THE INITIAL UPLOAD By Mrs. John I. Ghawaly I love being able to have God's Word to bring along with me and read. The missalettes do not have the weekly readings if there are any available. The drawback that there is to this version which I experienced in past years is that they do not have the opening and closing prayers, which I do not like because I want to be able to pray this as well. The great thing about this version is that it stays loaded in your device and you do not need any internet connection to access it daily (you only need it for the one time initial upload which I do wirelessly from my desktop computer at home). It is excellent also in that it stays at your last page read so that you do not have to restart from the beginning each day to find the readings. (That may seem obvious but if one person might ask it then it seems good enough to place the answer here in the comment section. God bless everyone who reads this!! (I took pictures of the kindle showing the pages but it is poor quality. Hopefully it will give you an idea of how it looks anyway. Also, I turned the pages but it still uploaded sideways. Sorry!!)

Unlike other similar books, there are no meditations, no "Saint of the Day", no featured articles, just the scripture readings. Because that is exactly what I wanted, I am very pleased. Whether a companion guide for daily Mass or a substitute when you don't have time to attend, this is the perfect source for the daily scripture readings

My wife uses the Kindle during Mass since one can not always hear the lector or priest during the Mass readings. I also use this at home when I can't make it to daily Mass.
