He (the author) has a way of taking life's complicated issues, and putting them into such a clear perspective. Failure sucks. Not just the actual failure, but finding a way to work through it and not only get back to where you were, but to learn from it and use it to grow to new levels. That is what this book did for me. It is a great read - not too long, but full of stories and examples that you will remember as you walk through life. I bought the hardback because that's all that was available, but I'm glad I did, becasue I have a feeling that I will be going back to it again and again for not only encouragement, but actual strategy- a game plan. It's practical things you can do in the real world to really succeed, not just limp along in life. I also got his 12 Traits of the Greats book and liked that one as well.

I've heard Dave speak several times and he always makes me roll with laughter. My favorite joke that he tells is when one snake turns to another snake and asks, "Are we poisonous?" “I don’t know. Why do you ask?” replies the second snake. “Cause I just bit my lip,” explains the first snake. If you need a second chance in life because of past mistakes or circumstances, this book will help you. Everyone blows it from time to time, but with this book you can discover how to get "another shot" at life. Read it!

A must read and is something that will be opened and referred to again and again for great success in life By Mac Rogers I got this book in the mail yesterday and I started reading it late last night. I just finished the book - I couldn't put the book down!!! Dave Martin did an incredible job in using the game of basketball to parallel that to the game of life. Very inspiring to never give up on a dream, but also offers practical and Godly advise on how to go about chasing that dream. A must read and is something that will be opened and referred to again and again for great success in life. Thanks Dave Martin!
