2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Incredible Read By Sam You can not go wrong reading this book.. This could be the start of a great space opera. There is no stopping in this book, we go from one climax to the next and the characters are very complex and well developed. Its has been very hard in my reading experience to actually feel human emotions for a non human life form but the author does it very well, if it wasn't for the names of the characters you would think they were full human. The emotional conflicts the characters have, debating between their directives and emotional conflicts can get you at times and have the reader in a conflict of emotions with the characters.The author did a very good job of letting the reader figure out what was going on and by that i mean so many books in this genre will lead the reader by the nose (as if we can not think for ourselves) and they reiterate redundant information OVER AND OVER AND OVER but this other does none of this. Its like watching a play, he puts all the information on the stage and leaves it to you the reader to decide his meaning which i love and not every step is spelled out for you, he leaves some guessing at what is about to happen then later the character explains why they did this or that just as we would as humans.I will just say this again, this could be a GREAT SPACE OPERA, there are so many places he could go with this story and so much could be told that would enrich our imagination it would be incredible. So please if you read this and like it please add in your comment asking for another of galaxy.
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Great Read!!! By Gwendolyn O. Raine It has been awhile, since I have read a book with so much action and intelligence afforded to a heroine. She enters the story as an intelligent being, and progresses to exceptional heights. The character traits could be that of any of histories famous generals. She acts on situations with precision, instead of talking about what could or should be done. These traits, of the main character, endeared me to the story and kept me wanting to know more of what was coming next. Expect a 2nd book, would love to see more of where the story could go. It would be a great movie. Action, action, action, truly loved this story.
