We have great characters that have different books but can come together into one mega throw down....it's like the Justice League or Avengers. That being said this book focuses on Alex and his start in a business that uses his unique abilities to help people and maybe make a little cheddar on the side. The great thing this book does is that it reminds us that not every plot needs to revolve around some world ending catastrophe or villain. The stakes are relatively small but we still enjoy the journey. Alex is growing in his powers and becoming more comfortable in his new role. We also see how married life is treating him and how having a good woman there can make all the difference.....dude would be completely lost without Cindy. If you haven't read any of Mr. Bullion's books you need to start with "Demonspawn" and go from there. Then be introduced to Jack Kursed one of my favorite characters of all time....seriously he is awesome. Read these books if you even remotely like urban fantasy and weird stuff.

Love the whole world that this author has made and how all the pieces fit together. I was a little confused with how the last book went (Broken Home) but after rereading the series I really liked how it tied together without it being explicit. This book picks up the story of Alex and while a few other characters put in an appearance or are mentioned, the action follows Alex. He continues to kick butt in the supernatural world without it turning him jaded. it sounds a little thick, but the way Mr. Bullion writes his characters, it all works and makes sense. The biggest problem I have with these books is they just do not take long to get through. this one is no different, the length is fine, and well worth the price point, but the narrative flows well and I get caught up in it and find that I have stayed up until 2 in the morning finishing it.While the book gives enough background that you could pick it up without having read the other books in the series, I highly recommend going back to get through them. there is enough background and different characters that you will not suffer from burnout before you get caught up.

This book picks up soon after the last so there is no gap in continuity. Demons LLC follows Alex Teague as he begins his investigative/exorcism business with a couple of cases, both of them managing to add characters I would expect to hear from later in the series.I won't go into details, but we have ghosts, demons, vampires, and a sexy wife all getting time in the story. The book was a lot of fun and it showcases some of Alex's more interesting abilities, though I have to say I think he needs to always have Cindy along to do the heavy thinking.I can't help picturing the bar fight scene and how it would have turned out if Jack had been there, and that is the true strength of Mr. Bullion's writing, you become invested in the world he created and you find yourself thinking of the various characters as friends.Of course with the start of a business, Alex may find himself confronting a monster that no amount of power can save him from...the IRS.Excellent book at a great price so buy it and enjoy.
