I did not realize the power one's words can have on people's lives as well as my own.This book has opened my eyes to the ways I can serve and build up others. In doing so I have begun to experience more contentment in my own.I have never taken the time to write a book review and only occasionally recommend but this one was different.

It was well thought out and intellectually put together.Even though, 40 days have not passed since I've read the book; it is already significantly improving my personal life, business life and spiritual life. Great lessons that my wife and I are appreciating more and more every day.The way you speak completely changes the way you think, and it just makes life sweeter! This book came to me at a time I was highly frustrated with my circumstances in life that brought me to tears daily. I also started on the 40-day word fast at a time when, inexplicably, people around me were talking negatively about me. The gossip, lies and judgments tore me to pieces. Reading this book pulled me through this difficult time of both a heart-rending situation with the added distress of negative/unfriendly people.Instead of looking around me at the situation, I felt God was calling me through The Forty-Day Word Fast to look within myself to examine my negativity and complaining. Me Lord? But I am not the one criticizing and gossiping. Why would I need this book? Trust me, Child, you need the blessing of this book.Within a few short days, I became immune to the painful lies and gossip being spread about me. It was like God raised me above that and gave me perspective I never could have gained through my human understandin. It was supernaturally given to me through my fast of words. The gossip was still there, but my hurt was not. I truly believe that this book can be life-changing for ANYONE in any circumstances. I know, because it changed my life.My further testimony is that within a few months, God physically lifted me from those difficult, trying circumstances into a better situation.
