About the Author Tom Baglio has spent the majority of his career as a sales and marketing professional in the paper and imaging industry. American Infidel is his debut novel, the first installment of a trilogy. Born in Rochester, New York, Tom was educated in the bosom of the Catholic Church, attending St Rita's Elementary school and McQuaid Jesuit High School. He went on to graduate from the University of Dayton, with bachelor's degree in marketing. He credits his tenacity to survival techniques learned at St Rita's, where he received daily beatings from the nuns, most of which came from Sister Teresa Patricia (aka Attila the Nun). His mental toughness was challenged at McQuaid, where the Jesuits implemented psychological torture (in lieu of the nun's physical beatings), and mandated a minimum 3 hours of written homework every night! The final portion of Tom's training took place at the University of Dayton, where he was forced to endure 4 years of study, while under the influence of some of the most extreme intoxicants known to mankind. After 12 years of intense training, Tom entered the working world. Tom is married and has two children and six grandchildren.

Story highlights the built up anger and frustration with our government's inability to deal with terrorism and what it can do to a normal person.

The book enters the mind of a normal, middle aged man who is struggling to find meaning in his life and wanting to change the world. It shows the anger and frustration he feels about the government and the way it dealt with terrorism after the 9-11 attack. He wants justice for what happened to America and the world after 9-11. The author makes you think how 9-11 changed everyone in some way. I found the book to be honest, rather darkly humorous and politically incorrect.I realized that this man was sick and tired of having these feelings. Is Tony Bataggia a disturbed person or a hero? The answer to that lies in the reader's eyes. A well written book that makes you stop and think about how things can change in an instant.I received a complimentary copy of AMERICAN INFIDEL from the author, Tom Baglio and Outskirtspress for my view of the book.

It was very edgy and topical. If you are a person upset by ISIS and the things happening in the Middle East you will want to read this book! He writes about the things many people are thinking about, but are afraid to say!! Kind of a modern day Outlaw Josie Whales. The lead character has had all he can take and takes care of business!!!
