About the Author Raly studied languages at Sofia University, Kliment Ochridski in Bulgaria's capital city. Terry studied film-making at USC in LA. Together they made movies and TV -- Twice As Dead, Fire Over Afghanistan, The Power Rangers, among them. They wrote The Neo-Spartans for their daughter.

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. It's their world, and ours. By Glenn W. Wall This altered world is vastly different than the one in which we live, or is it? I didn't pickup on any similarities to Time Machine, as has been mentioned in the reviews here, but enjoyed the mix of youthful, otherworldly characters in a battle which is all too real on planet earth today. It made very good bedtime reading.

Di Pietro A silent change has occurred in our food supply with the introduction of genetically engineered foods. Never before has DNA from unrelated organisms been allowed to cross species lines. Nature in fact has many things in place to prevent this from happening naturally. Do we really want chemical company's in control of our food supply and seed? It is our job to protect biodiversity and avert biodestruction. The future of food and protection of the commons is our responsibility today. Hawai'i is ground zero for open air field experiments of genetically engineered crops. #stoppoisoningparadise Mahalo for writing The Neo-Spartans!

AN ALTERED BUT FAMILIAR WORLD WORTH EXPLORING By Michael Diamond Many haunting echoes of the present world make this futuristic landscape look not that far off and its terrible consequences much too familiar. A mixture of characters physically and mentally battling at a high level that make the book a page-turner. A true female hero who turns a family adventure into a world changing revolution. Great building up of physical excitement keeps the the story taut and engaging. MORE LIFE! A great idea.
