"Copper sun sinking low Scatterlings and fugitives" By Lilikins The author has a real knack for description and I was transported back on time to the early days of the Cape Colony where Cape Lions roamed the Hottentot Holland mountains and Boers, Zulus and Xhosas fourght their battles with the English. Across the plains where creaking wagons cut their trails into the earth emerges Paka and her mysterious pride with their roots in Ancient Egypt. Richard is starting a new life in the Cape and dreams of owning a vineyard, but fate intervenes when his and Paka's world's collide serendipitously - what does the future hold for them and can they keep Adrian Van Horn and witchdoctor Denaga at bay? Will romance or obsession reign supreme?An excellent start to a new shape-shifter romance series.
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. 5 Stars By Daniel Lee Great story about Paka and Richard.. and though there are no erotic scenes, it was easy to feel the emotion and love that they started to feel for each other... Lots of romance, action, and thrills in this book. Loved it.
