A Fun Read By Toni Osborne Book 4: The Orion CodexBook 18, in the Colton Banyon MysteryThis is another exciting and captivating short story filled with suspense and over the top action. In this one, Colton and his sidekicks are sent to South America, on a wild goose chase deep into the heart of Ecuador. As in all books in this series Banyon is hunting for artifacts and treasures and looking for them strange and mystical things happen….I admit this series is beyond a fantasy and a bit ridiculous but knowing this is half the battle to enjoying it. The plot in “The Orion Codex”, is fun to follow and very fast paced, flipping the page is no problem one started its 110 pages or so is easy to read in one setting. Of course the merry band of misfits offers entertainment throughout the pages. The writing is simple, the dialogue catchy and narration blends in all the latest gadgets. We do have some twists and turns of events and the appearance of bad guys is enough to grip the reader’s attention…Being a long-time fan of this series I appreciated the tone down the authors brought to their sex scenes actually very little are mentioned and more attention was directed towards entertaining us with never ending action. After a few months away from this series picking it up was an enjoyment.

Going strong By Ailyn Koay I always enjoy Colton Banyon and his merry band, mostly because I get to visit the world and learn about mysterious places that I have never heard before. Los Tayos Cave in Ecuador is one of them, I honestly thought it was a dreamed out world until I Googled it, it is a real place to visit.Colton Banyon was handed two treasure hunters by a mysterious monk, this monk had also requested that Colton retrive the Orion Codex, which contains a lot more secrets about the Orion Weapons than initially thought.Oh how I would like to own some of them, would make my life so much easier, alas theses are science fiction, wholly conceived by the authors. As I followed Colton up and down South America, the mystery gets a whole more questions. In the end, while some answers surface with the kindness of the monk who had been running the show. Colton has more questions and without a doubt, this series will have a book 5 and beyond..Now Colton tries to stop world domination/ destruction by white supremacist (isn't that part of the plan all the time?), and run Forever Ours. At the young age of 60, I suspect the poor guy doesn't get to retire any time soon.Let's hope Loni keeps him young.

I am so fascinated by the imagination, the author had displayed in his work. I felt like travelling with the characters. Not to mention on the narration, it is so crisp and clear, especially during the fight sequences, It was as if all events unfolding before our eyes. Unlike other books which I read, the story grips the reader from the very first page.I haven't seen any dull moment throughout the story. The author managed to bring in the latest technological gadgets and it is a nice blend of new and as well as fictional weapons.Apart from Colton Banyon, who is the main character of this story, few more characters like Loni and Mandy remain in our mind. The story has many twists and unprecedented turn of events. The dialoges are catchy and remembered even after reading the story, especially when Timmy says, Father Crespi could be actually Adolf Hitler does require appreciation. The last fight with German troops is excellently described. Those who love to read adventurous novels should have this book in their collections. I look forward to read the other works of this author.
