Cute, Sexy, and Silly By Ali Matson Somewhere between 3.5 and 4 stars because while the writing was good, there were quite a few typos/editing errors that should have been caught and fixed. However, I won't let that stop me from enjoying what was a ridiculous and yet sexy story. I say ridiculous because it's a little over the top at times and the idea of mpreg in itself is silly. But then, I'm a Stephanie Plum fan so ridiculous is not a criticism by any stretch. I love a book that can go from intense to silly to sexy over the course of a few pages, and Omega's Fate definitely does that. I will read more of this series because it's too fun to give up on now.

Bad writing ruined what could be a good story...disappointing By Truffle Pie Not sure I was reading the same book as everyone else...Think there probably is a good story in there somewhere, unfortunately, the bad grammar and typos completely put me off reading further and after a couple of pages, I gave up.

Ethan one of the humans hired to entertain the werewolves, goes into the event with only one expectation: getting paid for having fun. The prospect of maybe meeting an Alpha female is only a bonus. Max is a successful Alpha male who is getting a lot of pressure to find a mate so he can lead his pack and to do that he must provide cubs which means he needs to find a female only he is interested in them because he is gay. While this book was well written I felt that it was too quick and I wanted a lot more out of it, but this is a first book in a new series and I am looking forward to reading the next book as both Ethan and Max get a surprise.

"Sublime Intervention" is a romantic historical adventure of the Napoleonic and Hanovarian Age. This is the smallest novel written by Vernanne Bryan, but it is historical literature at its best. It is a fast paced novel filled with adventure and political intrigue. Sublime Intervention takes place during the reign of Napoleon in France and the mentally imbalanced King George of England. England is grimly dealing with the threat of the conquering French despot. The political fear Napolean creates for the English king is the support of the royal house of Scotland, the exiled Stuart Dynasty, originator and defender of the constitutional monarchy. It is a move that introduces a chess game of intrigue and power that sends a man and a woman into the very midst of danger in order to maintain and defend the ancient source of liberty. During the French Revolution, political and parental authority were broken, religious beliefs were dismissed, and the individualism of the French people burst forth in awful and violent ways; moderately in the provinces, but the capital, the center of law, was witness to chaos and horrible bloodshed. Napoleon himself had been lawless, but he was determined to restore stability and regenerate France's morals and manners. Josephine did away with her adulterous dalliances. The new Code gave the husband rule over his wife and children, similar to that of the ancient Roman powers Napoleon so wished to reflect. To keep the result from mimicking the old aristocracy, Napoleon conceived that same form of class distinction would occur from natural diversity of abilities, so he established the Legion of Honor. This legion was composed of men chosen by the government who had climbed to high positions of rank through their excellence in the fields of military, law, religion, culture, art, science and scholarship. It was only a part democratic life - all men were eligible, but women were not. Members were sworn to support the principles underlying liberty and equality, but soon the class structure Napoleon predicted began, grading their merit by influence or tenure. As time advanced forward in the political manipulations, Napoleon would find his own liberty precarious.

About the Author Edgar Rice Burroughs (1875-1950) is the creator of Tarzan, one of the most popular fictional characters of all time, and John Carter, hero of the Barsoom science fiction series. Burroughs was a prolific author, writing almost 70 books before his death in 1950, and was one of the first authors to popularize a character across multiple media, as he did with Tarzan s appearance in comic strips, movies, and merchandise. Residing in Hawaii at the time of the attack on Pearl Harbour in 1941, Burroughs was drawn into the Second World War and became one of the oldest war correspondents at the time. Edgar Rice Burroughs s popularity continues to be memorialized through the community of Tarzana, California, which is named after the ranch he owned in the area, and through the Burrough crater on Mars, which was named in his honour.

Aycock this is the second segment of edgar rice burroughs' "land that time forgot" trilogy and, in my opinion, the best of the three. ex-cowboy tom billings leads a rescue mission to save bowen tyler, the protagonist of the first novel of the series, "the land that time forgot", and manages to have more trouble keeping his own hide intact than in finding his friend. remember, this was written about 1920, but the adventure holds up evev today. anyone not familiar with edgar rice burroughs, prepare for a treat!

Bring Lots of Butter and Salt Because the Corn's So Thick By illiandantic Unfortunately, Edgar Rice Burroughs' "The People That Time Forgot" is nowhere near as good as the first book in the series. Essentially, what this book boils down to is the hero doing stupid things, explaining where he came from, and the heroine saying "My Tom." Rinse and repeat every chapter as they move on to the next tribe in line. Considering that this is (and is supposed to be) pulp fiction, there's really nothing wrong with that. But, there's nothing that brings it up from the average. So, I'm rating it at an OK 3 stars out of 5.The novels in Edgar Rice Burroughs' "Caspak" series are:1. The Land That Time Forgot2. It answered some questions that arose from the first story but presented more baffling mysteries. Edgar's early works are just as enjoyable as the later ones. I have discovered a whole new world in reading, less complicated than today's authors.

Didn't expect to read it straight through, but the plot grabbed me from the start. I will definitely read the next one. (Needs some editing, though)
